Please note: This is a Sole Source Notification. The Tollway’s competitive procurement for a new system is in process and will require additional time for contract solicitation and award, contract execution, vendor onboarding, system development, and system transition. Accenture supports critical functions that must remain uninterrupted to ensure the collection of toll revenue. A sole economically feasible source (SEFS) contract eliminates risk of service disruption during this three-year period. While this request will help the Tollway continue to leverage its significant investment in this proprietary solution, the specific justifications for this a three-year term ask are: a) Reduce risks due to loss of key personnel resources b) Allow Tollway resources to remain focused on the implementation to complete it within the allocated timeframe c) Assure that necessary upgrades and improvements are not impacted due to delays in procurement Failure to obtain a three-year SEFS contract will compromise the Tollway's ability to retain critical resources that have deep knowledge, experience, and expertise on our project.
