The major work elements and Contractor’s responsibilities shall include, but are not limited to: Provide on-call pump repair/replacement services on an as-needed basis throughout the Town’s water and wastewater facilities. The first project (i.e. replacement of Pump #3) shall be to replace all pumps, motors, stands, and modify existing piping to tie-in the proposed pump at the Cedar Run Lift Station, as specified herein. The same shall also apply to the replacement of Pumps #1 and #2, should additive bid projects be awarded. Install new VFD controller on Pump #3 per manufacturer’s recommendations. If additive bid projects are awarded, installation of new VFD controllers on Pumps #1 and #2 will also be required. The project also includes construction of related electrical, control and instrumentation systems, and all piping, valves, grading, paving, erosion and sediment control and associated work necessary to render the facilities complete and operational. All work shall be as described or implied in the Specifications and indicated on the Contract Drawings in ATTACHMENT 1. Contractor shall submit a two-week look-ahead schedule to the Project Coordinator each Thursday by 4:30 pm. Contractor shall submit all materials for review prior to ordering. Replacement of Pump #3 shall be substantially completed within 16 weeks of Contractor’s receipt of all materials. Access: all entrances shall have access and shall always be maintained.
