1) Conduct a comprehensive analysis of the current, emerging, and forecasted advanced manufacturing workforce needs that identifies a detailed catalog of positions and needed skills by industry with a capabilities gap analysis; and, 2) Conduct a comprehensive analysis of resources and capabilities of Alamance Community College, Randolph Community College, and Guilford Technical Community College as well as possible sites for a brick-and-mortar centralized and collaborative training facility in order to identify the potential, capacity, and return on investment of a Triad East Center for Advanced Technology (TECAT) that would optimally serve the growing and dynamic industries in, establishing in, and potentially emerging in the region. 3) Propose a cooperative governance structure for the TECAT by Alamance Community College, Randolph Community College, and Guilford Technical Community College that includes a continuing process for industry partners’ input.
