• Annual Inspections: The Contractor shall conduct annual inspections on all leased fire extinguishers to ensure that they are fully charged, properly identified, and correctly located to meet applicable codes. A detailed inspection report—including the number, type, size, and condition of extinguishers, along with any observed deficiencies and recommended corrective actions—must be submitted to the designated County official (Facilities Operations Manager, Building Manager, Property Management Specialist, or designee). • Additional Inspections: The Contractor shall also schedule and perform any additional inspections required by NFPA 10 (such as 5-year, 6-year, and 12-year inspections) or other applicable regulations. Any work, repair, adjustment, or replacement performed during these inspections shall be recorded in the inspection report. • Immediate Action: Fire extinguishers found to need maintenance, repair, or recharge—or those that cannot be otherwise serviced—must be immediately tagged, removed from service, and replaced.
