This project includes replacing the existing tank insulation, tank seals, gas safety equipment, and monitoring instrumentation. It also includes replacing the existing draft tube mixing systems with linear motion mixing systems for estimated annual energy savings of approximately 400,000 kWh or $25,000. Additional improvements include a new sludge screening process, a new chemical storage building and process for struvite management and a new high strength waste receiving and storage facility. The project also includes the installation of equipment to produce and distribute pipeline quality gas to be sold on the renewable fuel market.
