a. High-Voltage Electrical Repairs • Diagnose and repair faults in medium voltage equipment including switchgear, transformers, circuit breakers, and relays, operating at or below12kV. • Repair and/or replacement of circuit breakers, protective devices, grounding systems, and feeder circuits. • Cable splicing and termination for medium voltage conductors including insulation testing, phasing, and taping. • Inspection, repair, and cleaning of busbars, insulators, surge arresters, and high-voltage enclosures. • Coordination with utility providers for service shutdowns and re-energization. • Restoration of system grounding, bonding, and arc flash mitigation equipment. • Implementation of temporary power solutions or system isolation during repair as necessary. • Documentation and labeling of equipment, terminations, and feeder routes post-repair. b. Preventive and Corrective Maintenance • Inspections and testing of high-voltage switchgear, transformers, cables, terminations, relays, and circuit breakers. • Infrared thermography, insulation resistance (megger) testing, and relay calibration • Cleaning and lubrication of moving components, including disconnects and breaker mechanisms. • Partial Discharge testing • Verification of system grounding, bonding, and surge protection. c. New Installations • Installation of transformers, switchgear, conductors, panelboards, and protection systems rated up to 12kV. • Design and layout of feeder runs, grounding systems, and protective relay schemes. • Conduct load calculations and ensure compliance with NEC, NFPA, and utility interconnection standards. • Commission new installations including acceptance testing and energization procedures, with documentation. d. Emergency Response • Provide 24/7 emergency services for power outages, system failures, and high-voltage hazards. • Respond within 2 hours to assess, secure, and stabilize the system or area. • Implement temporary solutions when immediate repair is not feasible, followed by scheduled restoration.
