Equipment Repairs • Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical issues in forklifts, pallet jacks, and related equipment. • Service engines, batteries, transmissions, brakes, lift mechanisms, tires, steering systems, and controls. • Replace worn or defective parts with manufacturer-approved components. • Perform functional and safety tests to confirm proper operation post-repair. • Perform diagnostics and repairs on control interfaces, including joysticks, keypads, indicator lights, alarms, and dashboard displays. • Repair or replace charging systems, including battery chargers, cables, connectors, and onboard charging units for electric equipment. • Inspect and repair mast and carriage assemblies, including chains, rollers, and lift cylinders for smooth, safe lifting operation. b. Preventive and Corrective Maintenance • Perform maintenance based on manufacturer guidelines and equipment usage. • Services to include oil changes, battery maintenance, filter replacements, lubrication, brake inspections, tire checks, and safety system verification. • Inspect for compliance with OSHA forklift and material handling safety standards. • Provide maintenance logs noting services completed and follow-up recommendations. c. New Equipment Setup • Provide equipment recommendations and sourcing options and secure delivery and setup in a timely manner to meet operational needs. • Assemble and configure new equipment per manufacturer instructions. • Perform safety checks and operational testing prior to service use. • Provide basic training for operators on equipment features, safe operation, and troubleshooting if required. • Deliver manufacturer documentation, warranties, and service schedules. d. Emergency Response • Provide 24/7 emergency services for critical equipment failures. • Respond within 2 hours to assess, stabilize, and either repair or remove affected equipment. • Implement temporary solutions with follow-up for permanent repairs or replacements.
