Furnish all labor, equipment and materials necessary to provide stormwater and water distribution infrastructure repairs, replacements and/or installations on an as needed basis utilizing one or a combination of unit price bid items. Work under this contract may include, but not be limited to bypass pumping; realigning or replacing inlet/manhole castings; sealing and/or grouting stormwater pipe joints; installing new manholes/conflict boxes/catch basins; pipe to structure connection repairs; stormwater pipe point repairs; canal dredging/cleanout; water main repair; valve, hydrant, and water service replacements; installation of flushing and sampling stations; dewatering; restoring miscellaneous surface improvements such as asphalt roadway replacement, pavement overlay, concrete sidewalk replacement, concrete curb and gutter replacement, sod replacement, fence replacement and other improvements as described by the Bid Documents. Work will include non-emergency and emergency work: the Town may direct purchase materials for non-emergency work with the Contractor providing the materials list; for emergency work, Contractor will purchase the materials after providing the Owner with an estimate of such; in both cases, the Contractor will be responsible for material delivery, schedule and coordination with the material vendor. Crews and equipment shall be available on as needed basis with no guarantee by the Town of the amount of usage. The Contractor shall agree to supply equipment and resources at various Town locations in advance preparation of a hurricane or natural disaster, the Town shall be responsible for the cost incurred by the contractor based on the Contractor’s Letter of Commitment, as required by the Technical Specifications. Up to two (2) non-exclusive, unit price contracts may be issued for an initial contract term of one (1) year, each renewable for three (3) additional and consecutive one (1) year terms by mutual agreement, for a total contact duration of four (4) consecutive years.
