This RFP solicits both new programming and program expansion of current warming service programming. Acceptable settings where warming services may be provided include, but are not limited to: • Emergency Shelters, which provide overnight services and require reservations be made with the County Adult Shelter Connect team to hold beds; and • Drop-in centers, which may or may not provide overnight services but do not require reservations be made to hold beds. The goal of this RFP is to ensure a safe, warm environment is provided 24 hours per day, 7 days per week via a combination nighttime and daytime service categories. For example, during winter 2024-2025, the County accomplished this goal by having two contracted providers operate daytime warming services (drop-in centers) and three contracted providers operate nighttime warming services (emergency shelters and drop-in centers).
