When power operators are called for, they shall be of the heavy-duty type consistent with the Assa Abloy, DC 7000, Horton 4100, or Detex AO19. 1. Door operators will consist of aluminum operator housing, operator assembly, wiring harness, swing arm, and electronic control. 2. All push plate switches shall be a touchless design. 3. Touch pads shall be hard-wired. 4. The operator’s housing must provide a seal against dust, dirt, and moisture. 5. Unit must have self-contained solid-state integrated circuit controls. No external or auxiliary low voltage power source will be allowed. 6. BEA BR3-X programmable shall be used when necessary for day/night mode feature and for sequencing and/or timing of exterior and interior automatic doors. 7. No substitutions allowed.
