Provide Brine Generator Salt (sodium chloride) – for road use for the 2025-2026 Season. 1.2.1. General Requirements: The brine generator salt will confirm to NSF/ANSI 60 requirements for industrial salts typically used in water softening and other industrial and food industry applications. 1.2.2. Chemical Composition: The brine generator salt will have a minimum of 98% Sodium Chloride and shall not contain more than 1% moisture by weight. 1.2.3. Condition: At the time of delivery to the Customer, the brine generator salt must be free of lumps, aggregations, foreign matter, be free flowing and maintain free flowing characteristic. 1.2.4. Gradation: o 100% passing ¾” sieve o 90% minimum retained on ¼” sieve o 10% maximum passing 1/8” sieve
