Trane is the sole source provider of Trane HVAC equipment, DynaView Control Modules, and Trane Building Automation Controls, and the only vendor that can provide Trane service and installations. The Trane HVAC equipment requires use of the DynaView Module, which requires Trane's proprietary software to function. Trane technicians are the only individuals trained to program and operate the module and are the only individuals with access to the software. Service centers are authorized by the factory to make all repairs and perform all service on Trane equipment. The Trane factory provides their technicians with service and diagnostic software that is only available to Trane employees. No other service company has access to this diagnostic software.
