1. PROJECT DESCRIPTION In 2016, the Town of Andover completed a Facilities Master Plan. The Master Plan included assessments of the 22 school and town buildings in Andover. Since that time, the town has updated, expanded, renovated, or rebuilt several of the buildings and spaces that were included in that assessment. As the town has progressed through its facility master plan, it is now looking to update the long range facility master plan to deepen its understanding of the state of its current facilities. The plan shall assess building condition, education suitability, technology readiness and the functional capacity of each building. The facility assessments shall be conducted using facility assessment software. The software should have the ability to be calibrated to meet the town’s building types, deficiency priorities and categories, and facility standards. At the end of the project the assessment software shall become the property of the Town of Andover. The software, as a deliverable, will permit the town to maintain the database as new projects are identified and completed, and provide as means by which regular updates can be made showing changes from the baseline data developed by the consulting firm
