The School Board of St. Johns County, Florida is requesting proposals for the provision of a District-Wide Classification and Compensation Study for AMC positions and Educational Support positions. It is the desire of the School Board to recruit and retain top-quality personnel, and to remain competitive within the local and statewide labor market. The School Board is seeking proposals from qualified proposers to conduct a comprehensive position evaluation/audit of all classifications; evaluate if a functional consolidation of positions/classifications to consolidate pay plans into a manageable number of pay schedules is appropriate; evaluate and recommend new classifications where appropriate. Positions to be evaluated includes the AMC workforce and Educational Support workforce. The AMC workforce consists of approximately 765 employees, with 172 active job descriptions and 12 different salary schedules. The Educational Support workforce consists of approximately 2,000 Educational Support employees with 36 active job descriptions and 18 different salary schedules.
