Provide emergency shelter support services for households experiencing homelessness. Funded programs to include supportive services for shelter guests (i.e. housing case management, employment and training supports, behavioral health supports, aging supports, etc.) DCDHS is seeking providers to deliver client-centered supportive services to individuals and families residing in emergency shelters. The selected provider will work in close coordination with shelter operators to ensure guests have timely access to services that promote housing stability, self-sufficiency, and overall well-being. Core services may include but are not limited to housing navigation, case management, benefits assistance, employment support, behavioral health linkages, and coordination with community resources. Services must be trauma-informed, culturally responsive, and designed to help clients transition from homelessness to permanent housing. This RFP is intended to identify experienced and mission-aligned organizations capable of providing consistent, high-quality support within shelter settings or nearby service locations. Providers should demonstrate a track record of successful engagement with vulnerable populations and measurable outcomes in housing placement and retention.
