The University of Maine System acting on behalf of University of Maine at Augusta (UMA) and University of Southern Maine (USM) is seeking a virtual tour platform that enables prospective students, families, adult learners, and community members, regardless of geographic location or schedule limitations, to explore USM and UMA’s campuses and academic offerings in an engaging, accessible, and interactive way. This document provides instructions for submitting responses, the procedure and criteria by which the Respondent(s) will be selected, and the contractual terms which will govern the relationship between the University and the awarded Respondent(s). As statewide institutions with multiple locations and a strong online presence, USM & UMA requires a solution that supports flexible, multi-campus and multi-location integration, interactive mapping, and independent tour groups tailored to specific programs, locations, or demographic audiences. These tours should enable users to explore programs, services, and physical spaces across our multiple campuses and satellite centers in ways that feel relevant and personalized. The platform must be customizable, easy to maintain with limited staff resources, and designed to support inclusive access for users of all backgrounds and abilities. Features such as automatic audio translation for multi-lingual users and an AI writing assistant to generate accessible, audience-specific copy are preferred as part of the base platform offering, rather than add-on services. In alignment with each institution’s mission to meet students where they are, the virtual tour must provide high-quality mobile responsiveness, real-time CRM form integration, and actionable engagement metrics. Integration with platforms such as Salesforce, WordPress, and third-party form tools is essential to streamline inquiry collection, support enrollment strategy, and ensure data security. USM & UMA are committed to presenting themselves as professional, forwardthinking institutions. The selected solution must support that vision while providing the flexibility and support necessary to maintain autonomy over content and ongoing improvements. Respondents should review 1.1.4 Specifications / Scope of Work of this document to see the full Scope of Services/Products required.
