The intent of this RFP and subsequent contract for Energy Consulting Services needed for the CCMUA. The Consultant responding to this RFP shall be experienced, and knowledgeable in providing energy-related services to wastewater treatment and facilities similar to CCMUA to complete the scope of services outlined herein in full compliance with all Federal, State, County and Local laws and regulations. The range of expected services required includes but is not limited to: assessment of the energy usage at the WRRFs, experience with real time meter data reporting and load management for WRRF, identification of appropriate systems and modalities to reduce Carbon Footprint– including battery storage facilities, to address the WRRF pick load fluctuations, and to evaluate financing mechanisms for the proposed systems including purchase, lease, power purchase agreement, and any other financing approach that would maximize the electric energy cost-savings to the Authority. Tasks will be assigned to the general consulting engineer, with each individual subtask budget to be negotiated separately, on an as-needed basis.
