UNT’s Office of Disability Access Department is soliciting proposals for the purchase of American Sign Language interpreting services for the University of North Texas System. The Office of Disability Access supports the University of North Texas Denton and Frisco campuses in ensuring that students with disabilities have equal access to the educational and campus environment. This scope of service is required to assist UNT System with establishing a ready supply of American Sign Language interpreters (multiple vendors needed due to the national vendor shortage) to ensure effective communication by serving as auxiliary aids for staff and students with disabilities of UNT System, as requested by the Office of Disability Access department, other campus departments, and in accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act and Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973.
