1. Assess amount of derelict fishing gear and debris on the reef 2. Assess the stability of the structures post Hurricane Milton 3. Measure the average vertical relief of the structure 4. Identify fish species present and estimate abundance 5. Assess potential level of bleaching and invasive species presence including but not limited to lionfish and green muscles. 6. Include water quality parameters (identified on page 3). 7. Photo documentation required during sampling. Dive Surveys: Reef condition will also be noted, and any scouring seen. The ability of divers to adequately visually survey these reef systems is directly related to the water clarity on each sampling date, therefore a minimum visibility equal to 2-3 meters is needed to carry out the surveys. Visibility will be quantified. Surface and bottom water quality measurements will be taken at each of the reef sites on survey days. Water temperature (°C), Dissolved oxygen (mg/l), pH, salinity (p.p.t.) and linear visibility (ft), and depth will be recorded.
