The County is seeking a vendor to provide Epic specific implementation resources and services for Wave II of San Mateo County's Electronic Health Record (EHR) solution utilizing the Epic Systems software platform. The purpose of this engagement is to enhance the existing Epic system, integrate additional functionalities, implement Epic applications in additional Health Divisions, and ensure a seamless transition for healthcare providers and staff in the delivery of patient care. While the organization is currently staffed appropriately as anticipated during the implementation, there may be a need for supplemental resources and services to be added to the team. To enable a successful project requires temporary assistance from one or more Vendor(s) to provide (1) Consulting services around the implementation, design, and building the new Epic solutions (2) Additional resources as needed with knowledge of the current subject or matter at hand, (3) Go-live support resources including, but not limited to, training and end user support, (4) Coordination for the go-live support resources and (5) Implementation partnership for Health IT leaders. The selected vendor will work in conjunction with County staff and other stakeholders to achieve the project goals within the specified timeframe and budget
