The City of West Haven (here after referred to as the City) is seeking proposals for the design/build services, for the upgrade of two air handling units, two outdoor compressor units, dampers, refrigerant lines, and associated HVAC/electrical appurtenances at the City of West Haven Animal Shelter, 7 Collis St, in West Haven, CT. The City of West Haven currently owns the 7 Collis St facility, which needs a HVAC upgrade. The interested parties can assess the air handler's, condensing units, and associated equipment during the mandatory site visit to determine the existing size/capacities of the equipment. In addition, the contractor will be required to determine their required means/methods to remove existing and installing new. This is a design / build project, and the successful design-build contractor shall design, build, and commission a “turnkey” HVAC replacement project and include the costs required for the "turnkey" solution
