The services provided by the selected consultant may include, but are not necessarily limited to: Evaluate the existing Comprehensive Land Use Plan and goals approved in 2001 Assess the County’s current condition including demographics, land use, transportation, design, parks & trails, transportation, and community character Gather public input on the goals and concerns of residents, businesses and other stakeholders 4-5 public meetings, evenings likely Guide sub-committees on specific sections of the CLUP (2-3 meetings) The vendor is responsible for meeting facilitation, creation and distribution of agendas and meeting notes. Incorporate current planning documents into the land use policy analysis including the Zoning Ordinance, Subdivision Ordinance, Watershed Management Plans, Solid Waste Management Plan and other adopted plans and ordinances Develop projections for future growth and development in the County Identify land areas for new commercial or industrial development Determine specific implementation plans for short- and long-term goals and action items Propose policies, initiatives and additional tasks necessary to accomplish the planning goals of the community Evaluate existing parks, trails, and recreational facilities, and identify potential improvement opportunities
