The Roselle School District is seeking proposals from qualified entities to design, implement, and facilitate a professional development program that will redesign teaching and learning experiences for the district’s students, enabling them to become lifelong learners. The District will use the Portrait of a Graduate model as the basis for this proposal. The goal of this initiative is to collaborate with district leadership, educators, students, families, and the community to develop a comprehensive and shared vision for what a graduate from the Roselle School District should know, be able to do, and how they should demonstrate key qualities upon graduation. In addition to facilitating the development of the Portrait of a Graduate, the selected vendor will provide ongoing coaching support, a communications toolkit, and assistance with survey administration and analysis to ensure a successful and inclusive process. The vendor will also offer virtual orientation sessions, coaching calls, and a virtual wrap-up with the district leadership team throughout the initiative. As part of this effort, the district seeks to develop a clear and actionable professional development program that aligns with the goals and objectives of the Portrait of a Graduate process, reflecting the district’s mission and values, and outlines the skills, mindsets, and behaviors that Roselle graduates should demonstrate upon completing their education.
