● Advisor and consultant on construction activities for the District; ● Assist in the development, upgrading, and maintenance of the District’s facilities planning and maintenance planning; ● Provide planning, investigations, enhancements, and correcting deficiencies with the District’s facilities and properties; ● Create and prepare any or all bids or quotations for any or all public works or construction projects for the District when requested; ● Liaison with the New Jersey Division of Education (DOE), the Schools Development Authority (SDA), the District, and all other governmental regulatory agencies; ● Assist with Facility and Early Childhood Projects completed and future, both DOE and SDA; ● Provide all floor, mechanical, plot–site plans, and other drawings as needed – submit electronically (in district format) and hard copies, three signed and sealed full-size and 1 “ half size” at no charge to the district, with corresponding specifications ● Review existing structure investigations and assessments, including all preschool contracted providers and contracted special education sites for all regulatory compliance; ● Develop deficiency correction projects; include program and physical plant upgrades; ● Assist in the preparation of the district’s maintenance plan; provide project estimates when requested; ● Develop and provide an estimated budget for each project; ● Review existing and projected enrollments - update all demographics; ● Review NJDOE software-report district information as required; submit all project information ● Conduct an assessment of existing and proposed programs – provide excess FES (Construction Efficiency Standards) justification; ● Complete the initial draft of NJDOE required reports; ● Full Range of the more Typical Architect/Engineer Design services from Educational Specifications through Construction Administration and completion; ● Obtain and monitor all necessary permits and licenses when requested; and ● Other services that may be required by the District.
