1. This project consists of the Contractor providing all labor, equipment, materials, supplies, insurance, etc., necessary to Resurface the Parking Lot, located at the Hillsboro NRP Office. The property is located at 3001 Starr RD, Queen Anne, Maryland 21657, in Queen Anne’s County 2. The project includes, but is not limited to the following: a. Mill and remove approximately 6,700 SF of existing asphalt material down to existing gravel base. Saw-cut to remove all asphalt away from any buildings or sidewalks. b. Remove approximately 40 LF of existing trench drain. c. Provide and Install into the existing gravel base approximately 105 LF of 4” PVC pipe from downspout to location shown on site layout. d. Add CR-6 to aggregate base where necessary, grading and compacting, to provide a 2% grade for proper drainage away from the buildings. CR-6 for Aggregate base to be calculated under Unit Price #1. e. Proof-roll Approximately 6,700 SF of compacted aggregate base. f. Patch ‘soft’ areas found during the proof-roll, using CR-6, to be calculated under Unit Price #2. g. Install approximately 6,700 SF of 3 inch Asphalt Base Course on existing base course. h. Install approximately 6,700 SF of 2 inch Asphalt Surface Course. i. Grade Shoulders and install topsoil road edge providing adequate drainage away from paved surface, using Unit Price #3. j. Paint approximately 126 LF of single white traffic line, two (2) Handicap Parking Spaces, and one (1) hashed area approximately 5 ft x 18 ft each. k. Provide and install ADA parking signage. l. Provide and install 7 Concrete Wheel Stops. m. Restoration of the site to pre-construction condition, including grading, seeding, and mulching all disturbed areas. n. Removal and proper disposal of all debris off state property
