Task I – Community and Official Involvement A. Consultant shall provide options and recommendations regarding the involvement of town staff, boards/committees/commissions, and the community in the planning process to gather input, address concerns, identify needs and opportunities, and find commonalities around housing development goals and strategies. Seek to include in the process a wide array of stakeholders including residents, Town officials, Town staff, realtors, developers and additional community groups or stakeholders as identified by the Task Force. Task II – Evaluation of Current Zoning A. The consultant will be responsible for conducting a review of and propose revisions to the Town's current land use, Board of Health, Conservation Commission and zoning regulations and bylaws to encourage the development of housing in appropriate areas so as to preserve the Town’s rural character and conserve and protect open space and natural resources including wetlands, woodlands, drinking water resources, and groundwater.
