The Contractor(s) shall furnish all necessary labor, supervision, fuel, equipment, traffic control, tools, supplies and incidentals as necessary to provide roadway and roadside debris cleanup and removal services on an on-call as needed basis. 1. All work shall be performed in accordance with the current versions of the ANSI A300 Pruning Standard, ANSI Z133.1 Safety Standard, and Best Management Practices - Tree Pruning (companion publication to the ANSI A300 Pruning Standard), Virginia Tree Policy and Safety Operation Procedures 16VAC25-73-10, 16VAC25-75-10 and the most current version of the Road and Bridge Specifications. 2. Debris shall be removed from the shoulders, ditches, slopes, medians and any other designated area of the right of way. Fallen trees or limbs which extend into the right of way from non- right of way areas shall be cut at a point where it enters the right of way and only the material on the right of way removed. This shall include uprooted and leaning trees. In order to be removed, debris may need to be re-cut and/or moved from its existing location. 3. Uprooted trees still attached to the roots shall have the stem cut to leave a stump at a level that is flush to the existing grade.
