Eight Corners School 22 Mussey Road, Scarborough SPRING CLEAN UP ● Spring cleanup will commence as soon as weather permits. ● Spring cleanup will be fone on weekends or on School vacation weeks, unless otherwise requested. ● Sweep and pickup/remove all parking lots, roadways and walks of sand and winter debris. ● Rake or vacuum lawns and clean up leaves, dead grass and sticks around buildings and haul off site. ● Prune damaged or diseased limbs on trees and shrubs. ● Edge, weed and clean all mulch beds and tree wells. ● Apply 2” of dark bark mulch to all beds and tree wells. SPRING/SUMMER/FALL MAINTENANCE ● Mow all seeded lawn areas once a week at a height of 2.5”, weather permitting. ● Remove all litter and debris prior to mowing ● Trim grass around fences, trees, beds and walkways, blow or sweep all clippings/debris from walkways. ● Prune all or any damaged trees or shrubs. ● Care shall be taken to avoid marring of trees, shrubbery and other vegetation by equipment. ● Weed beds throughout summer every (3) weeks or as needed weekly. ● Consult with Facilities Director on removal of milkweed, as some beds are reserved for studies ● Haul away grass clippings if bagged and blow all areas weekly to ensure a neat appearance. ● All mowing will continue until at least October 15th. FALL CLEAN UP ● Remove all leaves, sticks and dead grass around buildings, parking lots and all turf areas after leaves have fallen. ● Trim around fences, trees, beds and walkways. ● Prune any late flowering plants, do final weeding and bed clean up. ● Fall clean up needs to be completed by November 30th
