Module 11 Mechanical Room IDF to Assignment Office (Approx. 175') • Run new metal conduit from Module 11 Mechanical Room through the hallway to the Assignment Office, approximately 175', mounted above 15 feet from the ground. • Install a backboard with a 9U Network Cabinet in the Assignment Office. • Install one run of 6-strand, 9μm single-mode fiber optic cable. • Use LC/APC connectors, passthrough patch panels in Module 11’s Mechanical Room network cabinet and the other in the new 9U Network Cabinet in the Assignment Office. • Terminate all strands with LC/APC single-mode connectors and certify all strands.2. Business Office Trailer to Warden’s IDF (via MH Trailer and Business Office IDF) • Install 6-strand, 9μm single-mode fiber optic cable from the Business Office Trailer to the Warden’s IDF. • Route shall pass through the Mental Health (MH) Trailer and the Business Office IDF. o Use existing conduit from the Business Office Trailer to the Mental Health Trailer J-Box located at the north end of the Mental Health Trailer from there through another conduit that routes to another J-Box located on the Ewa outside wall to the Central Control mechanical room then to the Business office/Hawaiian Tel closet then through the ceiling to the Warden’s IDF. o Use existing conduits wherever feasible. If existing conduit is not usable, include in your quote the new conduit installation with an explanation why. • Use LC/APC connectors, passthrough patch panels. • Terminate and certify all strands with LC/APC connectors.
