The objectives of this initiative are to: 1. Document and evaluate the current revenue collection, transportation, and processing workflows. 2. Propose secure new or alternative methods for currency transport and exchange at 98 rail stations. 3. Recommend optimized methods for collection and transportation from 665 system-wide fare vending machines, including coin dispensing, cylinder exchange, and cashbox management. 4. Identify improved strategies for currency collection and transport at 8 bus garages, including mobile vault exchanges. 5. Ensure that proposed solutions prioritize security, efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and reliability. 6. Work with WMATA to oversee the possible implementation of recommendations.
