This can vary depending on the amount of USDA Foods available at any one time (APPENDIX III: ESTIMATED NUMBER OF CASES OF USDA FOODS ANTICIPATED FOR STORAGE OR DELIVERY IN 2025-2026). • Notice of receipt of USDA Foods from USDA, or its designated vendors, within 24-hours of receipt of a shipment, utilizing WBSCM established for that purpose (APPENDIX IV, REQUISITION STATUS REPORT – WEB BASED SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGEMENT (WBSCM) – EXAMPLE). • Inspection of loads for condition on arrival and verification of accuracy of count. Immediate notification to BSFP of any problems with condition or quantity. Overage, shortage or damaged USDA Foods shall be reported within two (2) business days after arrival of a shipment, using the system designated by USDA for that purpose. • Within five (5) business days, allocate the USDA Foods received to the appropriate programs as indicated on the designated electronic system, or in its absence, as instructed by BSFP. • Cleaning and repackaging, as required, any damaged merchandise so that all foods suitable for human consumption are salvaged for program use. • Payment for all freight demurrage and detention charges that occur, unless specifically exempted by USDA or BSFP. • Bracing or leveling stop-off shipments for further movement.
