Federal legislation has authorized the State of Florida to provide for the distribution of the USDA Foods to Recipient Agencies (RA) participating in the Food Distribution Program (FDP). FDACS’ Bureau of Supplemental Food Programs (BSFP) administers this program. Contractor will provide for the receipt, handling, storage and distribution of USDA Foods to RAs in Service Area 1, Region 2 (APPENDIX I, WAREHOUSE SERVICE AREAS AND REGIONS). Contractor will receive orders from RA or outbound shipments at least (5) working days prior to the scheduled delivery dates. Orders will designate sales order or delivery order number or the number of cases of items to be delivered to RA locations. Contractor shall furnish all labor, equipment and materials necessary to successfully provide the services in accordance with the specifications listed herein. The Contractor shall submit invoices to the RA monthly or at other intervals or mutually agreed upon dates. Payment to the Contractor to perform the services outlined shall be on a fixed price per case for dry items, special dry items, frozen and chilled items basis.
