The Waupaca County Highway Department Larrabee Shop is located at N11070 Hwy 45 Clintonville, WI 54929. Existing roof system (2008) is a mechanically fastened Duro-Last 34mil PVC roof membrane, over expanded polystyrene insulation, fastened to existing metal roof (1969). Existing fiberglass skylights were covered with 24 gauge galvanized steel sheeting. Small metal roof over boiler/pressure washer room is not part of this project. Acquire necessary local permits. Provide all material, labor, and equipment necessary to complete project. Perform all work in accordance with the recommended practices of the National Roofing Contractors Association (NRCA) and the roofing material manufacturers recommended practices. Where conflicts occur between these practices or between these practices and these specifications, the Contractor will immediately notify the County in writing. The resolution and final decision regarding any conflicts shall be made by the County. Contractor shall field verify all dimensions, existing conditions, and quantities and assumes all responsibility for the accuracy of the same. Contractor must have a minimum of five (5) years’ experience installing specified type of roof system. Contractor shall be currently enrolled in the roof membrane material manufacturer’s quality installation program, if one is provided by the manufacturer. Give the County at least one week prior notice to start of work Set up required safety equipment at site needed to comply with OSHA construction guidelines. HAZZ/COMM program and SDS sheets shall be on jobsite at all times. Disconnection and reconnection of HVAC Unit/Conduit shall be County’s responsibility. Remove existing roofing system down to metal deck and dispose of debris. Repair possible deck material deterioration on a time and material basis. Furnish and install expanded polystyrene roofing insulation in flutes and cover using .5” recovery board. Secure using approved fasteners and fastener patterns. Furnish and install UL class A Fire-Rated Permaseal 60 MIL PVC Hot-Air Seam Welded Reinforced Membrane or an acceptable, approved equal, with galvanized metal plates and high quality deck fasteners using approved fastening patterns. Furnish and install corner and boot flashing accessories to ensure quality seal. Weld to manufacturer approved details.
