that the substitute paraprofessionals hired will provide the following services: 1. Assist teachers in working with students in small groups. 2. Assist teachers with individualized reinforcement of instruction. 3. Participate in daily and long range planning of activities. 4. Alert the teacher to special needs of the individual students. 5. Assist the teacher with determining student progress through assessment and data collection. 6. Collaborate with parents, school/district personnel or their designee. 7. Use adaptive equipment when necessary. 8. Assist students with toileting and diapering when necessary. 9. Assist students with feeding and nutrition needs when necessary. 10. Escort students confined to wheelchairs or using crutches to classes throughout the building and to and from buses on arrival and dismissal. 11. Assist students confined to wheelchairs or using crutches to lavatory and assist student with bathroom needs. 12. Participate in daily and long range planning and activities. 13. Provide the school nurse with food intake of students i.e. diabetic, feeding tube. 14. Assist students with behavior modification and record progress using data collection. 15. Assist students during transport on the bus or other vehicle as required by the IEP or 504.
