Pipe 1. The pipe for water lines over 3” diameter, shall be Ductile Iron Class 50, conforming to AWWA C-151 or PVC DR 18 conforming to AWWA C-900 as specified on the bid. Pipe shall be U.L. and N.S.F. listed. The Pipe shall be integral bell push on joint filled with a single rubber gasket and shall conform to the latest revision of AWWA C-111 or C900. 2. The Ductile Iron pipe interior shall be lined with cement mortar conforming to AWWA C-104. The pipe exterior shall be coated with an asphaltic coating approximately 1 mil. thick conforming to AWWA C-151. 3. Polyethylene Encasement (Poly Wrap) for ductile Iron pipe listed on the materials sheet shall conform to ANSI/AWWA C105/A21.5-93, ASTM D1248-84. The material shall be Type I, Class C Black, Grade E-1. Tensile strength shall exceed 1200 psi minimum and thickness of 8 mils. with elongation of 300% minimum. Flat tube shall have a minimum width of 20 inches or sheeting a minimum width of 40 inches. Sufficient tape shall be supplied with the poly wrap to complete installation. This item shall be bid by the roll. Please indicate number of feet per roll on bid return sheet. 4. The pipe for sewer lines 6” in diameter and larger shall be SDR-26 Sewer Pipe conforming to the ASTM-D 3034. The pipe shall be colorcoded green and be delivered in 14-foot joints. The pipe shall be integral bell and spigot push joint with a single rubber gasket. 5. Rubber gaskets and sufficient soap shall be provided with the pipe. 6. Polyethylene tubing (PET) shall be 200-psi rated, SDR-9 CTS pipe conforming to AWWA C-901, using PE3408 resin and be N.S.F. listed. Material shall be Driscopipe or approved equal.
