The purpose of this solicitation is for mowing, trimming, and litter pickup at the SHA Maintenance facility and picnic areas in Talbot County. We will reference the Picnic Area as Project “A” and the Maintenance Facility as Project “B”. No minimum quantities will be paid under this contract. Project “A” will be bid on a per bi-weekly cycle base and should be invoiced at the completion of each full bi-weekly cycle. SHA has the right to decrease the number of bi-weekly cycles based on operational needs and requirements. All bi-weekly cycle cuts will be on an as-needed basis, with an estimated 16 bi-weekly cycle cuts per seasonal year for an estimated 32 total mows. Project “A” is a 1,494 sq. yd, with 1.60 acres of grass. Project “B” is mowing, trimming, and litter removal for all grassy areas at 8204 Elliott Rd, Easton, MD 21601. All other specifications stand that are stated in this contract. This service will be WEEKLY for 28 cycles per seasonal year for an estimated 56 total mows. unless advised otherwise by the SHA. Project “B” is a 14,520.01 sq yd, with 3.0 acers of grass. Project Goals; Mowing, trimming, and litter pickup at the SHA Maintenance Facility 8204 Elliott Rd, Easton, MD 21601, and picnic area 9460 Ocean Gateway, Eason, MD 21601 the direction of MDOT SHA. All work is to begin between the hours of 6:30am and 2:30pm.
