The California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation (CDCR) Division of Adult Parole Operations (DAPO) has requested that Enterprise Information Systems (EIS) retire the California Sex Offender Management Board (CASOMB) Software as a Service (SaaS) Cloud solution. EIS will guide an effort to replace the current CASOMB web application- along with the integration of the State Authorized Risk Assessment Tools for Sex Offenders (SARATSO) database- with a specialized SaaS that will serve as a database for both entities. This specialized service shall bring the application process into a single web-based solution from certification application requests and online payments to certification application acceptance, and finally certification/record management. The solution must be highly specialized and equipped to protect Personal Identifiable Information (PII), Criminal Justice Information (CJI), and to meet ever-changing certification requirements as set forth by the Board.
