The bid solicited is for the replacement of the water softener system at the Walworth County Judicial Center located at 1800 County Road NN, Elkhorn, WI 53121. The work includes the removal of the existing water softener system and all associated piping. Provide and install two (2) new water softeners, brine tank, meter, motorized alternating valve, and all associated piping and components as specified in the bid and drawings. Boiler and cooling tower feeds are to be installed after the water softener meter. A whole building water shutdown will be required to complete a portion of this project and must take place when the building is not occupied, after-hours, or on the weekend. The time and day of after-hours work will be determined after the bid award. The after-hours work shall include installation of the building water softener bypass and shut-off valves, so that water can be turned on to the building, while the remainder of the project will be completed during regular hours.
