The Work of this Project consists of two bid packages. The primary work package, in general, includes the creation of new meeting and study rooms, new finishes, creation and replacement of interior doors and storefronts, new lighting and lighting upgrades, new electrical and electrical upgrades, minor plumbing, partial roof membrane replacement and patching of existing, and a new rooftop unit. Add-Alternates in this package include the renovation of two existing restrooms, addition of an ERV, addition of enhanced lighting controls, RTU replacement, and addition of light fixtures. The second bid package for furniture, fixtures, and equipment (FF&E) consists, in general, of new furniture, new library book detection gates, and low-voltage system upgrades and cabling. The services of a moving/physical relocation vendor for the book collections and furniture to be relocated and/or reconfigured are also included in the FF&E package.
