The Contractor shall remove various sizes of brass and aluminum casings, including other various shell casings as indicated on Exhibit B-1, Rate Sheet, regardless of condition, and reimburse the State for the weight of the casings collected, as specified on Exhibit B-1, Rate Sheet. The Contractor shall provide services within five (5) business days of notification by the CDCR Armory Sergeant or designee. Services shall be performed between the hours of 7:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. (hours may vary by location), Monday through Friday, excluding State holidays, or as mutually agreed between the Contractor and the CDCR Armory Sergeant or designee. Services shall be provided on an as-needed basis, not to exceed four (4) times in a twelve (12) month period. CDCR will attempt to keep brass and aluminum casings separate; however, CDCR cannot guarantee the separation, condition, or cleanliness of shell casings. The Contractor shall be responsible for sorting, removal, and recycling of all casings collected from CDCR. The Contractor shall provide a scale, which is to be zeroed out with an empty storage container, prior to weighing the casings at the institution/facilities.
