he Department of General Services (DGS), Office of Administrative Hearings (OAH or State) conducts administrative hearings in accordance with Government Code section 11500 et seq., other applicable laws and regulations, and contracts and interagency agreements with other state and local entities. When a hearing is digitally recorded, OAH is required to provide a verbatim transcription to parties as requested. AGREEMENT SUMMARY The Contractor shall provide OAH with qualified and experienced transcription professionals to create certified transcripts on an “as-needed” basis, as described herein. OAH will award two (2) contracts for these services; a First Ranked Contract and a Second Ranked Contract. This contract is for the First Ranked/Second Ranked (as applicable) Contractor. This contract is subject to Data Processing and Protection as outlined in Exhibit E and has additional provisions for specific OAH case types as identified in Exhibit F and its attachments. The rates specified in Exhibit B, Attachment 1, Cost Sheet will stay in effect for the entire agreement term. The State will have the sole option to extend the agreement term for one additional one-year term at the rates specified in Exhibit B, Attachment 1, Cost Sheet
