Preparatory work to existing modified bitumen roofing. Approximately 50,500 square feet ● Cut out all existing blisters in the roofing system. ● Repair where possible with ExpandoThane. Where it cannot be repaired with ExpandoThane, install new base sheet and granular cap sheet to replace blistered areas as needed. ● Check all seams in cap sheet for delamination. Where the cap sheet seams are delaminated, repair with ExpandoThane if possible. If they cannot be repaired, install a 6" wide new cap sheet strip to close the seam. ● Remove all drain basin clamp rings. ● Install new butyl caulking sealant at all drains Labor and materials to provide new ExpandoThane roof and Aliphatic polyurea protection on all roofs. ● After repairs have been made to existing build up roofing system, clean and pressure wash all roofing including metal roofs. ● Secure and reattach all loose flashings. ● Remove and replace fasteners in metal roofing and trims as needed. ● Spray apply one coat of ExpandoThane roofing on all seams and transitions at 220 mils thick minimum. ● Spray apply a second coat of ExpandoThane over all roofing surfaces approximately 56,000 square feet at a finished dry thickness of 220 mils thick at a minimum ● Coat the ExpandoThane roofing with an Aliphatic Polyurea coating for UV protection and finish color. The main roofs will be coated in a grey color 51,000 square feet, and the existing metal roofs will be coated in a matching blue color approximately 5,000 square feet.-+ ●
