• Facility Operations o Provide a physical location within or near South Minneapolis to serve as the storage facility. o Operate a secure storage facility, including maintaining a clean, safe, and organized environment. o Provide access during regular business hours (e.g., Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.) to ensure individuals can access their stored items. o Implement and follow a sanitation protocol for all property prior to being accepted into storage. 2. Storage Services o Provide each eligible client with storage capacity equivalent to at least one (1) container with a minimum volume of 50 gallons. Use of 50-gallon bins is preferred but not required, as long as the storage solution meets or exceeds this capacity. o Label, track, and manage stored property to prevent loss, damage, or confusion. o Maintain an organized system to ensure clients can reliably retrieve their belongings. o Optionally, proposers may include a plan for staff to conduct outreach at homeless encampment sites to offer storage services and transport property back to the facility for secure storage.
