The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office, Jefferson County Missouri, intends to invest in a single purpose, explosive(s) detection Canine. The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office is issuing this competitive Request For Proposal (R.F.P.), to solicit bids for the purpose of purchasing a fully trained, single purpose, explosive(s) detection Canine and training for the assigned Handler. The R.F.P. bids shall include, but not limited to the following; the Canine’s explosive(s) detection training and nationally recognized certification, the Canine’s obedience training, the Canine’s required care for the duration of the training program, the Canine’s duty accessories, the Handler’s training and nationally recognized certification, training materials, manuals, and training aid(s)/odor(s) for ongoing training after certification, climate-controlled lodging accommodations for Canine and Handler team for the duration of the training program.
