It is the intent of the State Fiscal Accountability Authority (SFAA), Division of Procurement Services (DPS) to solicit Bids on behalf of SC Department of Parks, Recreation and Tourism (PRT) to provide 5 campers for Black River State Park using Airstream model 2024 30FB Bunk and Airstream model - 2024 Flying Cloud 30RB Campers with Fluorocarbon Treated UV Protected Polished Aluminum Exterior as a standard of what the state would like to procure. The use of a brand name is for the purpose of describing the standard of quality, performance, and characteristics desired and is not intended to limit or restrict competition. General: The specifications herein describe requirements for a 2024 or newer model year campers. These campers will be utilized as rental facilities for our park guests that may not own a camper but want to experience camping in a Camper. SCPRT intends for the campers to be operated continuously, and during all seasons including extreme and adverse weather conditions. All components of these campers must be constructed to the Recreational Vehicle standards to ensure employee and public safety at all times. Production Requirements: The campers shall be the manufacturer’s latest production model and shall be equipped in accordance with the manufacturer’s latest specifications. A copy of the specifications must accompany the bid along with written documentation necessary to ensure that the camper meets or exceeds the State’s requirements. The campers will be hooked to 50-amp power, water, and sewer supply lines. Specific Camper Specifications and Dimensions/Ratings Representative model: (3 units) 30 FB Camper with Fluorocarbon Treated UV Protected Polished Aluminum Exterior. The model is intended to be a representative of the look and feel SCPRT desires. The below requirements establish the values that must be met in order to be responsive. Length: Min: 30 Feet Max: 32 Feet Bedroom(s) Min: Sleeps 6 At least one dedicated master bedroom with queen bed, mattress Kitchen- At minimum should include the following: Storage Space Table Ability to covert for extra sleeping space Microwave Must be Convection Microwave Oven (Replaces Oven) Refrigerator Stove Stove should come equipped with Automatic shut-off or flame failure devices A B:C rated fire extinguisher must be supplied with each unit for mounting under kitchen sink. Sink should come equipped with cover to allow for converting to extra counter space
