Clackamas County Sheriff's Office (“CCSO”), is seeking the services of a qualified Architectural and/or Engineering firm(s) to provide architectural services, structural, civil, mechanical, and electrical engineering and design for a proposed Electronic Systems Upgrade for the camera system, intercom system, and security controls located at the Clackamas County Jail (“CCJ”) in Oregon City, Oregon. The selected Consultant shall have direct experience in Correction based security design, planning and permitting, and course of construction work. Consultants will work closely with county stakeholders to develop a full set of construction documents based upon initial building designs started by the CCSO staff. Consultants will be expected to attend design and public involvement meetings both in-person and via web-based media platforms. Due to time and budget constraints, the construction phase of the project may be separated into two or more phases: Phase one would consist of construction of the new system infrastructure, and the follow-on phases completing the installation of cameras and systems and demolishment of the existing system. Phases may be separated by several months or more.
