(PERP) permit registration in the Vendor’s name, no later than 30 days after receiving the engine, to ensure the engine is properly permitted with C.A.R.B. and not made obsolete because of potentially more stringent future standards, such as, higher engine Tier requirements. No Exceptions. Upon acceptance of the generator by the County When Installed, the Vendor shall transfer the C.A.R.B. (PERP) permit to the Los Angeles County Department of Public Works. Bidder must provide a proposed build sheet listing manufacturer’s options and features to be included with the generator bid. Certification: ISO 8528-5 GENERATOR FEATURES This specification outlines the requirements for a HighGrade Commercial generator system providing a complete, operable and tested, mobile diesel engine generator. The generator shall be trailer mounted and portable, sound attenuated with a self-contained fuel system and voltage changeable distribution. All components shall be compatible and ready for connection and operation. Any unit delivered must come with the factory generator test results log. Generator system must be delivered with a published Owners and Operator’s Manual for the trailer, engine and generator set. The engine generator set shall have posted operating instructions near the control panel and operating devices. Warning placards shall be visible at locations of customer access, to live voltage parts and other electrical connection points.
