The project involves clearing and grubbing within the designated limits, identifying all utilities, including telecommunications, coordinating the relocation of necessary telecom utilities, and coordination the relocation of required water and sewer lines. The project is located along U.S. Highway 17 Business, extending to the marsh at Channel Bluff Avenue in Pawleys Island, Georgetown County. Construction activities include the installation of storm drainage piping, along with drainage inlets, catch basins, manholes, and the outfall structures. The outfall line consists of Line C and Line D: Line C runs south to north and includes the installation of 36-inch reinforced concrete pipes (RCP), connecting to a manhole, catch basin, and drainage inlet on the west side of Highway 17. Line D consists of a 36-inch RCP that connects to a new outlet control structure from the pond to Channel Bluff. This line utilizes the Jack and Bore method to install dual 24-inch RCP under Highway 17, linking to two manholes on each side of the highway. A 36-inch RCP is then installed on the south side of Channel Bluff to transport runoff to the marsh.
