1. Furnish helicopter a. Make available during the implementation window (Table 3), one Model 107-II Vertol Helicopter (or reasonably similar aircraft with a capacity up to 22,000-lb. lifting capacity) b. Supply qualified pilots, mechanics, loggers and support equipment to perform services within this RFP scope as further detailed below c. Accommodate attachment of video recording device/s on skids and/or other acceptable location to capture aerial footage of implementation for an agreed portion of the flight time 2. Transport pre-staged restoration materials a. Aerially lift, transport and place restoration materials according to plan specifications, including as needed ‘field fit’ relative to on-the-ground conditions i. Moving logs and rocks at loads 9,000lnbs or less and be compatible with typical single-pick point choker systems b. Provide staging personnel to set and hook pre-staged materials (i.e. rock collars, logs and racking bundles) and retrieve chokers c. Communicate with engineers and project managers to coordinate materials selection and placement d. Communicate with ground crew flaggers ahead of loaded transport across area roadways e. Track, log and submit flight dispatches to project representatives for each operational day 3. Attend pre-implementation planning meetings (approx. 3) and all safety and coordination meetings during implementation a. Review safety and provide an overview for flight conditions for the day b. Review materials plan and locations with on-site engineers and Trout Unlimited project staff...
