The State is issuing this solicitation for the purposes of providing support, training, and consultation services to prescribers of MOUD and other perinatal care team members who support pregnant and postpartum individuals with substance use disorder to ensure the unique needs of this population are met. Planning for the Program 3.2.2.1 Applicant will develop a landscape analysis to inform the Program. 3.2.2.2 The landscape analysis will include an assessment of prenatal care providers and Opioid Treatment Providers who can provide treatment for birthing people with opioid use disorders, as well as non-clinical partners who engage with and provide services to birthing people. This may include but is not limited to: a. Percentage of Ob/GYNs, Midwives, and Nurse Practitioners who are able to prescribe and treat for opioid use disorders b. Percentage of Opioid Treatment Providers who care for pregnant and postpartum people c. Percentage of non-clinical providers engaging with birthing people who provide or refer to substance use support services d. Geographic areas in Maryland with insufficient supply of providers who can treat pregnant or postpartum people with opioid use disorder
